The locally admired Tea Amantes – Tearoom & Gallery started as Anna’s online shop almost 4 years ago has gained a steamroll of momentum and transformed into a thriving tearoom and secret social art hub.

A place that is firmly loved and used by both the staff and customers!

The pair hit the ground running in 2018 when she first opened an online shop Tea Amantes, breaking into the modern digital market.

Whilst she built up their business, becoming more and more popular each week, she attended different events across the UK such as Preston and Manchester – always taking a variety of tea flavors to each one.

Moving along to 2020, business was booming, and it was time for a rebrand – this is when our current trademark design was created.

With huge success from the start – just one year later, in November 2021, the tearoom opened in its current location, 53b Albert Road.

Whether you’re a bit of a novice when it comes to tea tasting or even a pro, we’re sure there’s something you’ll love at Tea Amantes.
With over 80 different tea flavors, it’ll be hard not to find the perfect blend for you, and our two lovely members of staff (Jane and Carys) would be more than happy to help you find it.

Whilst we’re on the topic of scrumptious teas – I’d also like to mention that we have an extremely tasty menu, with a gorgeous range of options including multiple types of sweet treats, as well as some drool-worthy savory meals & snacks.

We do our upmost to cater to as many dietary requirements as we can, because of this we can provide a variety of both vegan and gluten-free options to our customers.

We pride ourselves on great food, stunning art, and wonderful company to keep the tearoom as a local favorite spot to visit.

Jane has been running the floor here since February 2022 and is a complete pro in the kitchen, always coming up with fun new ideas to add onto our menu.

Carys is the newest member of staff, starting just last month – and at only seventeen years old, is remarkably hard working and very quickly finding her way around.

To sum this all up, we all adore Tea Amantes here and if you haven’t already, you should take a trip to come down and judge for yourself!

Whether you fancy a quick snack, some afternoon tea or to even come along to one of our exhibitions or live jazz nights, we’re excited to meet you!

All the best and hoping to see you soon.
