After three years at Inkden Tattoo Studio in Blackpool, Adrianna Urban and Chris Strach are moving to York. They will be with us until April 15, after which they will continue their tattoo journey in a new city.

Although they are relocating, we’re happy to say that they will still visit us for guest spots.

However, if you’d like to book a session with Chris or Adrianna before their move, now is the time—after April 15, you’ll have to wait until their next visit.

The Inkden Team would like to thank Chris and Adrianna for three years of collaboration, shared conventions, studio life, and creative projects.

Since they’ll be back as guests, this isn’t goodbye—it’s see you soon!

We wish them the best on this new chapter and look forward to welcoming them back in the future.

Shamack has been invited to participate in the Calgary Tattoo Show in Canada, where he will represent Inkden Tattoo Studio and demonstrate his expertise in biomechanical designs to a global audience.

For those who aren’t familiar with Shamack’s work, his biomechanical tattoos are truly one-of-a-kind. With an eye for intricate details and a passion for transforming skin into stunning, 3D-like artworks, Shamack is a master of blending organic and mechanical elements into cohesive, captivating designs.

This is a huge opportunity for him, and we couldn’t be more excited! However, before he heads off to Canada, Shamack still has a few limited appointments available for his loyal clients here in Blackpool. The first Derm Shield application should stay in place for 24 hours, depending on the level of exudation. It is normal for blood and fluids to collect under the bandage.

A second application can be used for several days, and a third application may be used if necessary. Gently clean and dry the area between applications. Do not wear any piece for longer than one week.

If a second skin dressing is applied, this may be worn between 24 hours and up to 5 days or till any part of the tattoo gets exposed. During this time fluid will build up under the dressing, which is perfectly normal.  After that time, Gently peel the second skin by pulling it slowly from the edge back over itself. Do not pull the bandage upwards. it’s best to remove the dressing in the shower/under warm water. It’s an adhesive dressing that will be quite stuck to the surrounding skin, removing this too quickly may irritate the area around the tattoo.  Once the dressing is removed rinse away all fluid that has built up, then wash thoroughly with warm water and a mild/unscented soap.  Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel and apply a thin layer of aftercare cream. 

Wash the tattoo a minimum of twice daily (morning and evening), if plasma is emitting from the tattoo as a fluid it is important to prevent this from drying, as it causes scabs.  Wash the tattoo more often if needed.  Colour tattoos should be clingfilmed for the first few nights, washed, applied cream, and wrapped before going to bed.
