Shamack raising funds and awareness for climate issues

As many of you have seen there are so many climate issues challenging our world and also people around it. With this in mind Shamack has decided to raise not only funds but awareness based around these challenging issues we face.

To raise funds for this important cause Shamack has decided to hold a raffle with 100% of the proceeds going to 8 billion trees.

In return for each raffle ticket bought you have the chance of winning a full day session with Shamack worth £550!! You can see more of Shamacks work here.

All funds from this raffle will go to the 8 Billion Trees enterprise to help them aid their vision.

59 tickets are available for this raffle the same as the national lottery. The bonus ball that is drawn on Saturday the 12th of October in the main lotto will be the winning number. Please note this date is the last day you can buy a raffle ticket.

Each raffle ticket costs £20 to buy with 100% going to the 8 billion trees enterprise.

Payments can be via pay pal, bank transfer or you can call in at the studio to pay by cash in person.

This month witnessed the beginning of Shamack’s guest spot appearances which this year will take him around the UK as well as around Europe. First on his list of guest spots was at the renowned Manchester based tattoo studio North of Winter.

Tattooing alongside Shamack during his 3 day guest spot were resident artists; Sam Barber, Jak Connolly, Jordan Oterski, Dom Brown, Char Small, Karolina Czekaj, Dean Gunther and Helen Warren.

During Shamack’s fully booked time at the studio he had the pleasure of tattoing the Greek Goddess, Athena – God of war on his first day on his first day. Here is a shot of the finished tattoo.

On his second day was a full day session on a bio mechanical piston cover-up piece. Bio Mechanical work is Shamacks passion so this was a great day for both the client and the tattooist!

Shamack’s third day saw the final touches to InkDen studio receptionist’s Ben’s Blade Runner sleeve. This stunning Blade Runner sleeve had its final touches on its sixth tattoo session with Shamack.

As well as boasting an A grade plethora of resident artist’s the studio also has a painting / gallery space where many work in progress and finished paintings are on show to the public. Below are some examples of the work on show done by the artists in the studio. Therefore it was amazing to see the tattooists taking their skills to other mediums.

Shamack finished his guest spot by going for a meal with the artist’s where tattoos, techniques and knowledge was shared over food. Thank you for your hospital North of Winter, we shall see you again soon. Winter is coming Manchester!

Today in the studio we are celebrating Inkden’s 3 year anniversary!!!

So much has changed over the last 3 years as we are sure many of our friends ( calling you all customers doesn’t cut it ) have seen.

We would like to take this time to thank you all for your support and custom over these years. As you can see we have celebrated with a little champagne and some amazing cake and we still have some on offer to you all so if you are in the area come through and help us in enjoying this very memorable day with us and have some cake!!

We also have Guest Damian Cooper with us today how has been celebrating with ourselves and is ready to start tattooing tomorrow!

What a great day it was in the InkDen studio!!

We had the pleasure of having Australian industrial metal band Darkcell in the studio all wanting tattoos to mark their first UK tour circuit.

Below is a shot of the group as they arrived in the studio. As you can see none of the band were newbies when it comes to tattooing so it was great to discuss work they had done in the past back home and new ideas to mark their time in the UK.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Darkcell guys for their time in the studio and also their patience, we had David, Vitaly and Shamack tattooing the guys.

We had an amazing day full of music, laughs and great tattoos with the guys. But our time with Darkcell wasn’t over!!! We were given the chance to go see the guys play a set at The Waterloo Pub on the Saturday as part of the two day hang tight music festival. A huge thank you to Ian and Lucas at the Waterloo Pub for your great hospitality as always.

The night was full of awesome bands, great people and great food! Below is some footage we took while the boys were in the studio with ourselves. Its safe to say that we all had a great week here at InkDen and we wish the Darkcell guys all the best with the rest of their European tour…..Hail! Our door is always open and our tattoo machines are always ready to go for you guys.

There are various reasons why artists may differ in prices when it comes to quoting you on your tattoo. Much like in many other aspects of life, cheaper usually always means lower quality. When it comes to your body, health and the design that will be literally underneath your skin it is far better to invest in a good and reputable artist.

We know having a new tattoo can be a scary time, but we are here to make preparing for your new tattoo as easy as possible 😉

So as many of you have already seen we have been busy adding new signs and decor to the studio, we also have a new InkDen logo which we love! Let us know what you guys think of it all.

Maciek Nedynski will be guesting at Inkden Tattoo Studio Blackpool from 22nd-29th May 2019.

Tattoo trainee with a year’s tattooing experience, Maciek Nedynski was initially taught how to draw by his artist mother, before continuing his study of different art forms throughout his education and finding his inspiration in Old Masters such as Albrecht Durer, Francisco Goya, Rembrandt van Rijn and Gustave Dore. This influenced Maciek’s tattooing style, specifically blackwork- he specialises in black & grey graphic design styles. Maciek Nedynski is able to adapt his tattoo style to suite a variety of subject matter, creating visually interesting and unconventional tattoo styles that would appeal to a large audience.
